Chalet AIKOA is just a couple of minutes away from the winter ski area of Le Tour, and no more than 5 minutes from the main ski zone of Les Grands Montets, and less than 10 minutes from Flegere-Brevent area. By car just a few minutes from Le Tour ski lifts, five minutes to Argentiere and the renowned Grand Montets ski area (which you will gaze at from the chalet's lounge and balcony, and 10-15 minutes to Chamonix town and the other ski areas. Yet Chalet AIKOA is not on a through road that is used by anyone other than residents, so its peaceful, quiet and surrounded by nature and stunning views in all directions.

The free bus stop that takes you up to Le Tour ski station, or down the valley to Chamonix, is 2 minutes walk from the chalet, as is the mountain train which runs one way to Martigny in Switzerland and the other all the way to St.Gervais via Chamonix town. It is possible to actually train it from Geneva airport, via Martigny, in 3 hours, or 2 hours from Lausanne, and finishes with a mountain top train ride that is simply spectacular. The nearest boulangerie and supermarket is just 5 minutes drive away (or a brisk 15-20 minute walk) in Argentiere, where you will also find restaurants, ski-shops etc
